If you ever feel like dancing like nobody is watching..getting all sweaty and feel sensual at the same time yet have no experience whatsoever in Latino rythms ? well …then Zumba® Fitness is the right program for you. It combines latino rythms : salsa, merengue, bachate, cumbia, cha-cha-cha, samba, rumba, reggeaton and belly dancing…basically after each hour you will feel like you traveled the world in the most exotic places!

You ask yourself is Zumba® the right thing for me? Ofcourse it is. Its a programe for all age groups men and women. Although, men are a little reluctant to join zumba, but there is really no reason for that since its one step further in decreasing adipose tissue and getting toned at the same time.

The main initiator and founder of Zumba® Fitnessa is Columbian Alberto ”Beto” Perez. Basically as all ideas in life come in the most random of moments, his idea of starting out zumba came out of forgeting to bring his usual aerobic CD-s to his class. Obviously he could not cancel the class, so he just took the latin cd-s he had in his car and kept the beat on. The people in his class were so amazed with the workout that they wanted more. Everything else is history….

Zumba® Fitness is a program for all age groups for both men and women using Latino Caribbean music.

Zumba® Fitness is a high intensive interval training where you can burn calories faster because its a combination of both anaerobic and aerobic workout.The intensity of the training is controled by the individual himself, its adjustable thats way you may have ages from“ 7 to 77yrs“ attending zumba.

Zumba® Fitnessa class lasts usually for 60 minutes. The class begins with an easy warm up of 10-15 minutes ( merengue,salsa), after that comes the cardio workout which lasts for about 40 minutes (this is the most fun part of the class because you keep on changing steps and music merengue, salsa, reggeaton, cumbia etc. The dancing steps keep on being modified throughout the training with the goal of pressuring certain muscle groups at a certain time, which means at the end that you get a full body workout. The last part is the cool down (lowering the intensity), after that comes streching.
